Phil Denny's blazing sax, infectious melodies and in-the-pocket grooves on "Crossover" create an exuberant album sure to make him a major new force on the contemporary urban jazz scene.

Smooth, tantalizing horn textures rich with emotion and feel, are what is offered up on this ten-track debut produced and co-written by Nate Harasim. Denny also welcomes to the party guitar heavy hitters Nils, Gerey Johnson, Matt Godina and Frank Selman as well as appearances by bassist Terrance Palmer and vocalist Anna Stevenson. This tasty and dynamic debut release not only offers a blend of energy and soul, but the kind of sexy Quiet Storm flavored ballads that will be a revelation to those listeners always hungry for the best new talent the contemporary jazz scene has to offer.  

Although no stranger to the stage, Phil Denny's work on "Crossover" will be branded as the new identity of this passionate and soulful talent.
