Album Notes

Phil Hare is:
a) Regarded by many to be one of the UK's finest acoustic guitarists.
b) A writer of 'socially aware' and political chorus songs sung at folk clubs all over the UK and Europe.
c) Has played session guitar for many established folk, blues and rock acts including the Spinners, Pele, Tom McConville & Bloodshot Rolling Red. Was, for a while, the 'house' guitarist at Fellside records in England.
d) Has done numerous radio broadcasts in the UK, including hour-long specials with Radio Merseyside and Radio Shropshire and the BBC's Folk on Two.
e) A gritty, soulful singer in a (vaguely) similar style to John Martyn.
f) Now, single-mindedly taking pure acoustic guitar and vocal stylings to everybody possible.
g) Described by 'Living Tradition' magazine as 'criminally underrated!'. 'Tears From The Tracks' is '.....the raw Phil Hare. His Best Yet!' - English Magazine Stirrings. 'Pure, unadulterated Phil Hare' - Net Rhythms.
