Album Notes

Philippe Chrétien, was born in 1958 in Basel, Switzerland. He studied piano, trumpet and composition with his teacher Chester Gill, until he fell for the tenor saxophon in 1979.

Besides engagements in various bands like Instant Jazz, SOS, Best Before, Richard Broadnax and HONK!, he is hired as guest musician with Tony Lewis, Nubia, Eve Kay, Daniela Simons, Gino Todesco, the Savage Blues Band or MvsT.

He made productions for TV and radio stations as well as several recordings for the bands above or as saxophonist for Pfannestil Chammer Sexdeet, Dan Daniell, Don Bianchi, Rock Circus, Aneta, Allschwil Possie and City Three, which make him a highly talented studio musician.
