The word Sintra comes from the Celtic word "Cynthia" and means moon. Besides Sintra is a little town in the south of Portugal and famous for its beautiful old castle. The shape and sense of detail are giving this castle its grace.
The Philippe Lemm Group is an Amsterdam based Jazz quintet around drummer Philippe Lemm. The music is lyrical, colorful and energetic. With original compositions the band managed to capture the atmosphere of a dreamy and fairytale-like landscape. For those how are into lyrical jazz this CD is an absolute must-have.
