ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
Born and raised in Texas, Philip Q. Morrow has been singing and writing songs since he was sixteen. Drawing on influences such as Dave Matthews, Counting Crows, Shane and Shane, Guster, and Chris Tomlin, he finds his own way of bringing out emotion. At age 26, his energy flows out of his uniquely smoky vocals and interesting rhythmic guitar style. In the first few strums of each song, Philip’s depth and passion, both musically and spiritually, become apparent to the listener. His themes span from the deep depravity of man to the awesome grace of God as he seeks the undeniable link between the two. The often-aching vulnerability shown through his music draws out what we all need—a genuine pursuit of God’s presence. With challenging lyrics and dynamic arrangements, Philip will no doubt encourage the spiritual journeys of many.
