Anthology is Reynold D. Philipsek 28th album. This CD features 5 new studio tracks, 2 live recordings from a New York club radio broadcast and 9 newly re-mastered \"best of \" tracks from Reynold\'s back catalog.

Though generally considered a jazz guitarist in the gypsy jazz vein Reynold tends to reflect his American roots by his obvious influence of such post-bop players as Pat Martino and Joe Pass. As a composer Reynold also shows the influence of Astor Piazzolla and Jobim.

This collection has Reynold in a number of settings (quartet, quintet, solo and with orchestra). Reynold\'s penchant for arranging has him cast with virtuoso players on chromatic harmonica, violin, flute, viola and accordion.
