It\'s been a year and a half since Phil Joel left contemporary Christian music supergroup \'Newsboys\' and what a fruitful year and a half it has been - first with the Dove Award nominated CD, \'deliberateKids\', and now with the release of his fifth and highly anticipated album \'THE NEW NORMAL\'.
Once again the sound is melodic and full of memorable hooks, which will be no surprise to those familiar with his previous CD\'s or work with his former band.
The production is rich and textured, yet still manages to project a simplicity which suits the impassioned lyrics that Phil has come to be known for. This is his third self- produced project and it is evident that his ability as a producer/singer/songwriter and passion to deliver his message is stronger than ever.
