This CD, which promptly arrived at my home within a few days of me placing my order, was packaged in that heavenly plastic wrap. I was so very excited to unwrap my new present...as I began to tear open my CD, I couldn't help but notice the FABULOUS artwork on the front. It captured me. I must admit, I quickly opened the insert to see MORE of the tantalizing eye candy. Alas...I popped my CD in and pressed PLAY. The sounds of glorious jazz and, what I like to call, Rattlesnaking...was literally music to my ears. I was overjoyed...thank you Phil Smith and thank you CD Baby!

This CD will take you to the heights, straight to the place where jazz lives. And it lives in the cohesive and incomparable hands of Phillip Smith. From the first killer slamdunk arrangement of Donald Brown's BISCUIT MAN to track 8's trip down the WABASH, you'll find yourself awash in a sonic flood and swept away in a current that'll lift you over your blues and straight to the heat where it's happening. Phillip Smith gets to the heart of the matter on this disc, and the matter gets phatter the more you dig it. Buy this CD!
