The Rushcutters ep is the 3rd release from Phonoss. Its an semi acoustic based mini album released as a taster to the next full length album due out late 2007. Phonoss is a side project of Michael Brennan who also plays in The Feds and Kidameln. An outlet was need for a mass of extra material not quite heavy enough for The Feds or nice enough for Kidameln...... somewhere in a genetic corn field of alt indie goth stoner rock. Phonoss likes to keep things on the darker side, although theres a few brighter moments thrown into the Rushcutters ep to mix things up a bit. Written in Europe 2005/2006 and recorded at DS4H Music back home in NZ.
