Her new CD, Can’t Judge A Book By Its Cover brings a wealth of traditional and original songs that get elementary school children hopping, dancing, clapping, singing and writing their own lyrics.

Kids joyously honor differences in others with the melodious title song, while Butterfly gives them an opportunity to admire their own growth and changes.

Phyllis’ raucous, “in the hood”, Trip Trap Rap, not only creates an new twist on an old tale, but engages kids in rapping along with Phyllis and acting out the lyrics.
