Album Notes

Xkal, is the most innovative hip hop artist out of Dallas, Texas. His sound is truly unique, rough and edgy, yet smooth as silk. Xkal is not only a recording artist, but also has the ability to capture and captivate his audience. Xkal has made a name for himself on the
southern hip hop scene. He has performed at various venues throughout Texas,
Oklahoma and Arkansas. Xkal has opened for artists such as Rome, Absolute, Too
Short and BG.

Xkal recently released his second solo project, Piranha. A
promotional tour for this album is currently being planned. He wants to give
back to the community by performing at benefit concerts with various non-profit
agencies. Xkal hopes to begin his tour during the summer of 2009. In addition to
planning his tour, he has been in the studio working on an album with his group,
The Enthrone Rydaz. Xkal spends his free time working on beats and writing
material for his future projects.

His first solo project, Can't Handle Me, was released on BlackJack
Records under the stage name MCV. In addition to two solo projects, Xkal
collaborated with fellow Texas artist, 9MM, on the album Steppaz of tha Phonk, this album included the song Kaos, a real, raw look at trying to get into the music business. "They 'bout to make a nigga take sumthin', ain't no industry comin' to my door knockin', tryin' to get some scrillas for our empty pockets, and the haters around me and they steady blockin' and we ain't stoppin', we still droppin'. "

Xkal has a message in his music! His performances demand attention. Xkal is without a doubt, a force to be reckoned with! Xkal says it best on his upcoming release, Bite Down Muzik, "I was meant to be here, I'm the talk of the year, I'm the industry cure, yes sir, that's for sure!"
