On this year\'s CD we bring you 16 hand selected performances that allow you to bear witness to a musical movement that is continuing to make its mark on the national landscape.

The creative nexus for the Pickathon continues to be the
Portland music scene with contributing help from like minds all around the country. Portland\'s unique mix of small to medium musical venues continues to allow a diverse group of musicians to follow their instincts while growing a dedicated following in the community.

The Pickathon takes place each year sometime in August just outside of Portland.
