Album Notes

"Collection" by Pierce is packed full of 17 new songs & new twists of older songs & different ideas and styles that "I've more or less had in the back of my head or sitting on the shelf for a long time. After all, playing Rock'n Roll your whole life, you just don't up & play country songs. You'd get laughed at, Ha! Some of the credits & big names Pierce has had the pleasure of working with include Delbert Mclinton, The Dixie Dregs, The Guess Who, Ted Nugent, Steppenwolf, Jr. Walker & The Allstars, Louisiana's Larue, just to name a few.
After recording two successful rock albums with SweetToothe, "Testing" and later Tricks, "Turn A Trick", couple of singles, plus a whole mess of session work in Nashville, South carolina, etc., way too many years of roadwork, and finally a brutal wreck on a Harley, of course, that almost ended it all, the man is back with a vengeance!
"Yep, done pulled out some of them old riffs and threw a little millenium twist on em"!
Sing It All Night and P.D. Rich are two rockers done LIVE on the album and features a solo of Pierce on the bass! The only recordings in existance of these two songs... and YOU HAVE NEVER HEARD ANYTHING LIKE THIS BEFORE! And for a guy whos idols are Yes, Zeppelin, Montrose, Jethro Tull, The Eagles, Joe Walsh, Pink Floyd, etc. the man can whip out some killer country riffs too....can't figure that one out yet, maybe by the time Pierce #2 "Back With A Vengeance" is released. Be on the look out!

I can't believe that one person wrote & played all the instruments on this CD. It sounds like a full orchestra plus more!! Pierce is definitely the man!!!
