Album Notes

Seven folks from cajun country, born and raised to rock out. The self titled "Pierced" is a praiseworthy album of thanksgiving, with upbeat jams like "peace jam" and the worship favorite "show me the way", this is an album that would please any lover of Christ and Christian music.

The name Pierced was inspired by the Isaiah's prophecy of the sacrafice that Jesus would be for us, and the novel Pierced by a Sword written by author Bud McFarlane, whose words have touched many hearts including our own. The title of his book is based on the Gospel story of the Presentation:

"and Simeon blessed them and said to Mary His Mother, 'Behold, this child is destined for the fall and rise of many in Israel, and to be a sign that will be contradicted, and you yourself a sword will pierce so that the thoughts of many hearts may be revealed.'"- Luke 2:34-35
