Album Notes

Every artist goes through a process of growth and self nurturing. Trials and tribulations are considered as a very important part of an artists creation. Pigpen, a Savannah, Georgia native has demonstrated there's no exception to this rule. As an artist/producer, Pigpen continues to pay dues for the price of success.

Throughout teaming with various local artists such as the rap groups DLT, Da Slumms, Paradox or even when beginning a solo career. Pigpen has learned the good and bad points when involving business and friendship. In his first true emergence as a freelance producer, Shonuff (The Soundtrack to the Streets) was introduced. A compliation of local artists, as well as himself. Rejoining longtime friend and music associate Skeet Mitchell, also signified a new era in Verbal Herb Records music.

Pigpen immediately began Shol'Nuff Productions, which later led to the group Shol'Nuff (Pigpen and Skeet Mitchell). The compliation album introduces independent, up and coming artists Twan Geezay, Turf Boys, and Pedaman. This album embraces all the elements of the streets. While delivering its harsh but real message over some of the illest tracks ever produced. This album is filled with bounce music as well as hardcore street hits.

It´s a great cd, it got variety, a street feel and good production values. I aint got nothing to complain about when it comes to the sound. But 11$ for a home-burned cd is quite alot
