Well-crafted original songs, genuinely delivered; masterful recording quality.

By way of background, I've hosted and produced public radio programs featuring independent acoustic and alternative artists for over 20 years. It's refreshing to encounter a CD where each song is worth deeply listening to. The lyrics here are moving (and interesting) and the accompaniment richly supports the vocals without overpowering them. While immediately accessible and pleasant to listen to, each song also is complex enough to stand up to repeated listening. Airplay of "Low Light" brought positive response and we'll be featuring "I Always Will" this week. The songs on this EP make me look forward to a full LP or CD and I hope Pillars will pursue this.
