Album Notes

"To Comfort and Destroy is amazing and as complete a realization of Pillow Army's talents as I could hope for. I can't wait to hear the full-length. I can't wait to see them again." – TYSON LYNN, Seattle P.I. -FULL REVIEW

"Pillow Army is a band all about opposing elements. Acoustic guitar and a string section make up the body of most of the songs, but - more times than not - that calm is stabbed by raucous intrusions from loud electric guitars, working as a counterpoint to the loveliness of the other instrumentation." - REV. ADAM MCKINNEY, The Weekly Volcano

Pillow Army Rocks!
author: Chelsea Campbell

I LOVE this band and this album! I originally went to see them when they were came to Bellingham because a friend was going, and I have to admit I was skeptical. But before Pillow Army's first song was over, I was blown away and knew I'd love the rest of the show. Their song lyrics are excellent and I can easily relate to them. The cello and violin add a real richness to the music that hits home the emotions of each song. I can't stop listening to this album--I wish it was longer! I can't wait for their next album (which I'm hoping will include my favorite Pillow Army song, Two Pill Day). If you live in the Seattle area, you NEED to go see this band!
