Album Notes

Small city living doesn't exactly give a person many things to do. In fact it leaves you with a lot of spare time on your hands. And William (B.J.) Arnold utilized most of his spare time perfecting his craft of writing rhymes. Hailing from Brownsville, Tn (Haywood Co) a one High School town the dude they call Pimpta$tic was created. B.J. Arnold was born in Selmer, Tn July 2nd 1984, but Pimpta$tic was born in Haywood Co. Getting the rap itch from a child hood friend Saravian Bond, also a fellow member of the group he would help form later called 3-DEEP, Pimp jumped into the rap game head first. Even though he had star appeal he didn't take to writing to well at first, but he continued to work on his writing frequently. He started to notice his progress when he and 2 friends won their High School talent show. From there Pimp and two of his friends became the group 3-DEEP. They did two albums as a group (Tennessee Made) and (3-DEEP OR NOTHING). Pimp grew up around drugs and gangs, but he didn't let those distraction dictate how his life would turn out. In fact he used his surroundings as tools to help build his persona. Pimp saw the way the people around him with money carried themselves, and thats how he wanted to carry himself. He took to that aspect well, because Pimp is a very self confident person. As his rap career became more than just a hobby Pimp became noted for his word play and great subject matter. Major figures started to notice his star appeal. He and another local artist by the name of A. Carter saw each others drive and work ethic and came together to start the own label. M.I.M Ent. which stands for Money is the Motivation Entertainment. Pimp's first solo project is due out in the first quarter of 2007. It is rightfully entitled "a StaR is BoRn"
