The COLLECTIVE is a \"best of\" of sorts...its hard to call it that however because the project is still independent and small enough that a best of makes it sound bigger deal than it really is.

well to me its always been a big deal so I guess it justifies it right? What you are about to listen to is 7 years of music compiled on one cd length set. These songs for one reason or another came to be as being the definitive \"collection\" of Pimp X, its soundscape, its sad side, light side and dark side.

To me these are the songs that will make the newest listener understand whatI was trying to go for with this project. Music that moved you without lyrics.

That last sentence was my objective for the project when I started it in 2000. I wanted to make people feel something just from the music without any singers at all. Sounds easy but I found out is a lot harder than it was anticipated.

I think these songs show a range of emotion. I hope you all agree and enjoy it and the music i produce with my many talented musician friends for years to come.
