Album Notes

The name Pinder will strike a chord with fans of the legendary Moody Blues. Mike Pinder started the Moodies back in 1965 and his great voice and mellotron gave the band a sound that still echoes down the hallways of rock's heritage. Now the name Pinder is back, this time with Mike's two sons, Matt and Mike, throwing their hats into the rock arena with The Pinder Brothers.

Indeed Matt Pinder and Mike Lee Pinder, are out to make their own noise as The Pinder Brothers.

Great playing and a batch of some great new songs give these guys a green light to carry the Pinder sound further. The title track of their 2006 CD, Jupiter Falls is a future pop classic by any standard.

Listen to the Pinder Brothers and you'll hear the sounds of pop's past merging into the future: classic '60s pop, the post punk, heady sound of the MTV '80s and the retro pop resurgence of the '90s mix things up in the finest Pinder tradition. Give a listen!

An amazingly well-written, well-performed, well-produced album. Not one sub-par track on the entire album!! Dear Diane is the hit (or would be if this were major label) but this is one of the best projects I've heard in a long time.

This is the second album I have purchased off The Pinder Brothers, the first one being 'Jupiter Falls'. Their music is truly amazing and inspirational. I enjoy listening to them when I am happy or with sorrow. My favourite song, (which is such a difficult choice!) on 'Ordinary Man' is 'Dear Diane'. The Pinder Brothers never fail to produce brilliant songs with great lyrics. One particular song being 'First Kiss Goodnight' from their first album 'Jupiter Falls'..breathtaking! All the songs on both albums are good! No matter how many times you listen to the CD's, you won't get bored!! Thank you Pinder Brothers. I can't wait for your next album! Good luck and keep up the good work! - Corrinne.
