Album Notes

The Pineapples were formed in PortChester NY in early 1990. The first two releases, Crystalline 7', and Cacahuatess EP,
were produced by the now legendary Kramer of ShimmyDisc

Kramer went on to release the band's signature 4 song EP "All For What" on Kokopop. This release won a New Musical Express "Single of the Week" in the
September 1993 issue.
The Pineapples soon after were touring England in support of a fourth release, "She Brings Me Down," on Placebo.
After the tour, the Pineapples never broke up, but played infrequently. The band was voted one of the top 10 in NYC
by the staff of CBGB.
Now they are playing select shows in NYC only. The Pineapples enjoyed a standing invitation at CBGB's,
and recently played the Knitting Factory. The band is recording a new and full album worth of material at their home studio, and has just released their fourth ep "empty" on Parttrance.
As you enoy this largely unknown band dream along slide guitars and things to come.
