Introducing Pink Flag and the Homewreckers provides the first public offering from the infectious pop-post-punk of Pink Flag and the gritty grunge of the Homewreckers.

Pink Flag are a three piece based out of Durham, NC. Since they came together in early 2008, Dork (bass), Lucky (guitar) and Sick (drums) have caught eyes and ears with their sneering pop, three-girl harmonies and the versatility that three singers and songwriters lends to a band. Pink Flag is more cult than band, more spice than sugar, more shout than whimper, but like their namesake album, they display a method to their chaos, a virtuosity in their noisiness and a keen ear for hooks and song structure. Their earnest approach to all subject matter and whirlwind live performances have been infectious for audiences.

Since the Homewreckers moved to Durham, NC in 2008, they have been edging their way into the hearts of every garage punk in the triangle with a sound that's equal parts punk, indie and garage with a dash of riot grrl. Armed with rum-junkie drummer Jack, who loves to fight, Zeke, the bass player who can't stand still long enough to even think about it and Julia who has a voice like a bullhorn plus a guitar tone that sounds like "church bells being shot out of a canon," (fan quote) the Homewreckers are ready to steal your girlfriends, beat up your boyfriends and piss off your parents.
