Cathy Pino is a singer-songwriter currently based out of Minneapolis, Minnesota. In 2002 she released her first recording, \"Rembrandt Lighting,\" which features the popular \"Venus and Mars Overheard, \" and \"Light of the World,\" and the slightly less popular (at least with Cathy\'s mom) \"Tunguska (The X Files Song).\" Currently Cathy writes, tours, and strives to realize the dream of peace and justice in the world. Faith, family and friends are her greatest influences, and she endeavors to examine, explore and celebrate facets of each in her songs and storytelling.

Fun and Comfortable

Cathy's first album, for me, is like talking to a lost-lost friend. The thoughts and sounds she shares are as fun and comfortable as watching Austin City limits while snuggled up in a blanket with a cup of hot chocolate. I have used and enjoyed "Light of the World" for years, and it's especially nice to hear the composer's own version.
