Gerald Pinter (saxophonist) Bio:
Graduated from North Texas State University with a Bachelor of Music degree. Toured & recorded with the famous Woody Herman Big Band, including 2 Concord recordings nominated for grammy awards, ("50th Anniversary" & "Woody's Gold Star"). Significant performances include Tony Bennett, Joe Williams, Mel Torme, Joe Pass, Stan Getz, Maynard Ferguson, Clark Terry, Nancy Wilson, Rosemary Clooney, Joe Lovano, Cab Calloway, & many others.
Since settling in Southern California, significant performances have included concerts with Bobby Shew, Lee Konitz, Gary Foster, Alphonse Mouzon, John LaPorta, Tim Hagans, Ray Drummond, Phil Woods, Billy Harper, Johnny Coles, "Martin, Modesky & Wood", "Little Anthony & the Imperials" & "The Temptations", to name a few.
Current groups in which I record & perform include: Ralph Penland quintet "Penland Polygon"(1995 10th Annual Cognac Hennessy Jazz Search finalists), recording of "To Journey a Dream", Ron Stout Quintet (2 recordings: "For Chet & Other Heroes", & "Metamorpheus" both on Talon Records), Cecilia Coleman Quintet (1997 12th Annual Cognac Hennessy Jazz Search finalists), recoding of "The Impostor"(Talon Records), Alan Ferber Septet recording of "Playground" (Talon Records), Carl Saunders sextet recording of "Out of the Blue", Carl Saunders recording of "BeBop Big Band", Steve Huffsteter Big Band recording of "Gathered Around" (AIX Records), Joey Sellers recoding of "Pastels to Ashes"(with: Billy Mintz, Kei Akagi, Clay Jenkins, Bruce Fowler), Tom Garling sextet recording of "Maynard Ferguson Presents Tom Garling" (Concord Records).

Steve Cotter (guitarist) Bio:
Graduate of the University of North Texas with both Bachelors & Masters in music. While earning his Masters, Steve taught guitar classes & directed a jazz ensemble. The time at North Texas also gave him the opportunity to perform with Randy Brecker, Gerry Mulligan, Buster Williams, Marc Johnson, Bobby Shew, and a host of others.
Since settling back in California, Steve has had significant performances with James Mahone, Willie Jones III, Matt Otto, Danny House, Bobby Caldwell, Joey Defrancesco, Ernie Watts, Pete Christlieb, Joe Bagg, and many other fine musicians.
