"Reel Life" 2006 Release. From Western North Carolina skirls the Great Highlands Bagpipes........run thru a wah wah peddle with a Rockin' Blues background sure to make every tie-dyed & kilted body get a movin' and a groovin'! Add to the mix electric & acoustic tunes makes REEL LIFE a very eclectic, continual change in gears.
From the opening jiggy-bluesy pipe romp of "Rock 'n Reel" to the boisterous "Moby Love" with an all-out Wah-Pyp jam at the end, this album will make the starchiest sporran a-jumpin and tappin the toes!
RJ Grady plays the Pipes, Acoustic and Electric Guitars and sings a bit. Cindy Grady sings and plays percussion. Bud Gallagher comes in on 4 & 5 string bass and vocals.
"Their music will liven your soul" ( from an article written by Wiley Sloan for the Laurel Magazine, August 2006 )
" You don't usually associate Scottish Bagpipes with Led Zeppelin or Jimi Hendrix-or even Elvis Presley. But RJ Grady and his bandmates in Pipapelli find a way to make it work, weaving a musical anomaly they call BLUE CELTIC ROCK" ( from an article written by Chuck Waters for "The Guide" May, 2006)
