Pipe wrote their first song before they even met. Ah, the wonders of the internet and computer recording software. Brought together by fate, kept together by a burning passion to spit out all the music bouncing around inside their heads. They throw all their influences into the pot, a little bit of Pantera here, a dash of Alice In Chains, some Soundgarden and maybe a pinch of Godsmack or old school Led Zeppelin. Stir vigorously, sweat over it, maybe even bleed a little and voila...pipe music. Pipe is what Metal is supposed to be. Dark, heavy, loud, sinister, pounding drums, ripping guitar and bass, tough vocals...none of that "look how high I can sing" crap. No electronic beeps and whizzing sounds. Just pure hard and heavy riffs and thunderous beats with lyrics that explore the not so nice things in life. Pipe is a "let's make 'em deaf" four piece whose mission is simple...
