Album Notes

Pistol Opera combine the timeless spirit and songwriting of classic bands like The Rolling Stones, Led Zeppelin and The Beatles with modern elements of everything from post-punk and new wave to hip-hop and drum & bass. Essentially, it’s all about the tunes.

As of this writing (November 2007), Pistol Opera are recording their second album, to be released in 2008.

REVIEWS

Fantastic from start to finish!

Awesome!! This CD has something for everyone. The power rockers Siren Song, Do Ya and my personal favorite Lovely Soul Detonator make this album sure to please. It's nice to hear a CD where the whole album is good and not just one or two songs. Get yourself a copy, you'll be glad you did.

Perfect merge of various sounds
author: Alicia
Pistol Opera is doing more than their part in saving us from the emo wave trying to take over the music world. They've merged various different musical genres - from classic rock to modern indie - in such a way that all listeners will find something stuck in their heads once the album stops playing. I am so happy with this CD!

This CD is great
author: Eden Bausch
Pistol Opera combine great sounds like Stone Temple Pilots, Queens of the Stone Age, and Squeeze. These are all great bands, and, like Reese's cups, they taste great together. Not only is there no bad songs on here, there isn't a single track that isn't wonderful. TWO THUMBS UP!
