The Man

P.K. is married to his wife Fatima for 9 years. He has three children which are his two boys Romello and Alonzo and his daughter Jayla. He is the son of Bishop Dr. Joseph L. Ricks and Pastor Melisa Ricks who are the founders of Victory Church in Jesus Christ World Outreach Center in Staten Island NY where P.K. and his family worships.

The Testimony

Like the majority of preachers kids P.K. was filled up with Rebellion. The streets were calling and he answered the call. Growing up in the church but the church didn’t grow up in him. He began to do the will of satan and began hosting parties. He would have performers such as Big Pun, Fat Joe, Wu-tang Clan, New York City Hot 97’s Bobby Konders and Jabba and also 106 and Park DJ Enuff. He than began to do his own music and the devil didn’t disappoint. BET played the video of his group’s song. He personally wrote a promotional song for Fat Man Scoop, which played on New York’s Hot 97 for almost a year. As P.K. began to rise in the music industry The Lord told him “EITHER YOU WILL LIVE FOR ME OR I WILL DEAD YOU OFF” By the mercy and grace of God he chose spiritual life giving his life to Christ September 2000. Within the first six months of P.K. being saved the devil tried to get him back. His producer told him the group was offered a 250,000 record contract with Sony Music. Praise the Lord he declined and has been proclaiming the gospel ever since.

The Preacher/Rapper

A licensed and ordained Youth Minister in his parents’ church, P.K. sows into the lives of the youth weekly. He has also spoken to the whole congregation speaking messages such as “Superman”, “Physical Process to Spiritual Success”, “Where Will He Find You”, and “Abusive Relationships” truly preaching in season and out of season. He says “The greatest testimony a Christian can give to the world is the lifestyle that they live”. The Ministry Of HipHospel was the name of the mix tape P.K. put out letting the church and street community know of his changed life. This has led to him performing all over New York City from church to church and many other venues. He has performed at a show hosted by Gospel Legend Bobby Jones who enjoyed it so much he asked him to perform again later in the same show. The Church community has been eagerly waiting for his debut album to come soon. The title is “EYES HAVE NOT SEEN, EARS HAVE NOT HEARD” being released on June 19, 2009.

The Vision

The Bible says without a vision the people perish. God has given P.K. a talent and he will continue to use it for Gods glory. He prays that from the words out his mouth that souls will be saved, delivered, healed, set free, changed and inspired to do the will of Almighty God.
