Album Notes

Plain Meanness emerged two years ago from the fertile Arkansas Delta with the culmination of members from three reputable local music actsThe Last Farewell, Gardenia Sweat, and The Sea Monsters. The combination of Patrick Dailey (vocals and guitar), Derek Doyle (upright bass), Grant Harbison (Trumpet), and Greg Arnold (drums) results in an eclectic mix of old-time country & western, rockabilly, surf rock, jazz, and punk, but according to the band, they play just Rock ’N’ Roll. The members of the band have been known to play on the same card with such acts as Th’ Legendary Shack Shakers, Unknown Hinson, Scott H. Biram, the Gourds...and Black Oak Arkansas. The band’s first full length album is out now!
