Album Notes

The Plainsmen are a group of musicians brought together from all over the state of Kansas. United by a common love of music and fun, their adventure started in the unlikely town of Wann, Oklahoma during the spring of 2006. It was a rowdy show complete with a stolen goose neck trailer, a grouchy 90 year old bar owner, and a classic Kansas vs. Oklahoma brawl at the after show party. The four members of the Plainsmen knew they were on to something special. With their roots planted deeply in the Americana/Singer Songwriter brand of music, each member of the Plainsmen brings their own unique style to the sound. The future has never looked brighter for this progressive emerging band. Only time can tell what is instore for these plains pickin', rough ridin', keepers of the plains.
