Album Notes

I am a self-taught musician, and i have been playing professionally for 15 years, and have been writing songs for almost that long. I have been living and working in the southeast where I played in numerous bands as well as performing constantly as a solo act. I am currently playing and living in Colorado at 10000 ft.
"The Circle" was recorded at Elixir Studio in Athens GA in 95 and 96 and is a reflection of my years of being angry at the state of affairs in the world and especially in this country(Reagan/Bush era). But I feel it also reflects an optimism that we can make a better world. A special treat on this cd is Derek Trucks playing slide guitar on the title cut.
Planet Earth is:
Eddie Ayers - drums and percussion
Carey Nall - guitars, vocals, harmonica
Jay Winks - Bass, vocals
Brian Woodward - Bass, guitars, vocals
with guest artists:
Steve Fink - electric piano, Fender Rhodes, Hammond organ
Derek Trucks - slide guitar

A great album!

I am a Reagan/Bush deciple but I love this CD anyway! They have a great sound. I played it over and over again. Almost has a Neal Young sound to it. This CD has such a polished sound to it, I can't believe it has not hit the charts and gone wild. I hope there is more where this came from, I want more!
