Team Plastique Manifesto
We believe that too much art, music and entertainment is passive and boring. We like to create situations where people have fun. We think some of our ultimate moments were at Birthday parties when we were five years old and all the parents were drunk in the kitchen...
We smash pineapples on stage as therapy. We come from Brisbane, Australia- a tropical paradise, that's also deadly conservative. Just outside Brisbane is a large Plastic Pineapple called the Big Pineapple which is a famous tourist attraction. We call our style "Neon Noir" as we come from the shadow of this pineapple and we like to fuck with the excessive and superficial culture we come from. We moved to Berlin two years ago as we needed to live somewhere more accepting of our kinks. We love Berlin, but its cold and grey and people wear brown.
T.I.T.S is our answer to Berlin...tropical kids in the cold, spicing up a brown town with some trashy pizazz.
We are freak magnets...some of our fans keep our piss in jars, others have sex in the audience. We like it this way. We tend to be hated by boring, cool people, but that's OK...they kind of suck.
We also like to graffiti our bodies.
