This genre-defying Berkeley, CA-based quartet are the sole proponents of "space fuzz melodika".

Lo-fi beat box manglings mix with vocals ranging from ethereal to tortured, with a heavy dose of guitar noize thrown in for good measure.

They call it space fuzz melodika pop noize alternative... I call it great. It is a little bit tricked out like Portishead, but with more of the pop sensibility of Garbage or Sneaker Pimps. An electronic feel follows it all the way through, but doesn't overrun the vocals or the musical stamina of the group.
