Album Notes

From the California Bay Area comes this upbeat indie rock act, known for an eclectic sound influenced by the likes of Death Cab For Cutie and Weezer.

'Leave It All Behind' - the debut LP from Please Do Not Fight – was recorded by Aaron Hellam at Castle Ultimate in Emeryville, CA and features Zen Zenith on guitar, Erin Keely on violin and keys, Beau Dorsett on bass, Spike on drums and dueling male and female vocals provided by Zenith and Keely respectively. Written over the course of the last four years, singer-songwriter Zenith croons irked lyrics reflecting a discontentment with society and a fondness for community set to a backdrop of eclectic rock arrangements.

From the folk-punk anthem 'We All Will Sing' to the Get Up Kids inspired 'What Am I Trying To Save?' to the power-pop antithesis 'On The Other Hand, Fight! Fight! Fight!', the band runs the gambit of indie-rock influences while establishing a signature sound all their own.

The end result is something they're happy to say they really like. And they hope you will too.
