Biography:
PLEASURE MAKER was born in Rio de Janeiro in 2001 as a follow-up to the Bon Jovi covers band named New Jersey. Influenced by such 80’s acts as Winger, Bon Jovi, Def Leppard, Duran Duran or Danger Danger, the band aimed to re-create the joyful sound and atmosphere of the 80’s, combining technique, melody and good choruses, without “living in the past“. The band’s core includes C. Marshall on vocals, who had released 2 albums with Fugitivos de Toquio, Alex Meister on guitars, who was one of the founding members of Thoten (that released two albums on Scarlet Records in Italy) and played at Italy's Gods of Metal festival in 2003, and Mark Sant'anna on bass, who is known for having played in several rock/pop bands in Rio de Janeiro. The band got the attention from SPIRITUAL BEAST in 2005, and the first release under this collaboration will be the "revitalized" version of their debut album "Love On The Rocks" already circulated in the Latin America. The album has been re-mastered for better sound and features a completely new and truly improved artwork by Brazilian artist Gustavo Sazes (Tribuzy, Fates Prophecy etc). In the meantime, the band is currently playing some local shows in Brazil, establishing themselves as a live act.

Selling Points:
* “Revitalized” Debut Album from the Brazilian Hard Rockers already generating a buzz
* Re-mastered at CD design in Tokyo (Youthquake, Aphasia etc) and features wonderful new artwork by Gustavo Sazes (Tribuzy, Fates Prophecy etc)
* Features ex-Thoten guitarist, Alex Meister, whose licks are reminiscent of George Lynch (Dokken) or Ronnie Le Tekro (TNT)
* The song “Just Thinkin’ About U” (independent version) nominated for “Song of the Year” in 2005 on www.melodicrock.com
* Guest appearance by Sidney Sohn from Thoten
* A Must for any fans of 80’s Melodic Hard Rock!
