Pól Mac Adaim was born in 1971 in Ardoyne, North Belfast. After witnessing countless atrocities as well as being a victim of British oppression he began writing songs about the experiences of the ordinary people who lived through what only can be described as the extraordinary circumstances they faced during the recent struggle for national liberation in Ireland. He has since went on to address other issues in various parts of the world. A singer songwriter who delivers folk music with a radical punch, Pól has been referred to as the 'voice of the people' by many.

Pol Mac Adaim really connects all the dots in this beautifully recorded CD. His lush and haunting voice, his multi-instrumental talents, his fine original material all shine in this fine recording. Highly recommended!

Best work yet!!!
author: Jan Nillson
When I first listened to Pol Mac Adaims CD 'If we don't help them now', I was touched by the depth of humanity expressed in the lyrics of his songs.
'Internationale' is also a powerful piece of work, workers songs with a new approach, new life into a long running struggle.
'Forsaken Land' is a mind blowing album,in my opinion Pol's best album to date. The fight for social justice is alive and well. I eagerly await his next album.
