Album Notes

Chris has been involved with music from a very young age. He started tinkering with the piano then his ambitions turned him to the saxophone. He won several awards in high school for achievement including the nationally recognized Louis Armstrong award. A tour to Germany was next with the BCC Big band. He was interested in world rhythms and played in a reggae/ funk band known as Cedar Roots Vibration. Then he went on to play with Private Stock. This band played extensively in Seattle and surrounding regions. This was the same time when he independently released his first solo album "Robots not Included". After the small success of that release he immediately started working on his next album.
Currently Chris is playing in the band "The Panda Conspiracy", also based out of Seattle. T.P.C. is a whole new set of original songs with a all-star line up. The release of his second solo album Analog Pirates has people everywhere talking. Stylistically the album captures bits and pieces of Chris's whole musical career up to now. You will hear Hip Hop, Dub, Reggae, Indi rock and other styles all wrapped up in this musical tapestry. The Saxophone among other wind instruments is the common thread that ties this release together. If you enjoy new music with fresh sounds and authentic original performance this is sure to be a great addition to your collection.
