Album Notes

The EP is a sparkling blend of boy/girl harmonies, spiraling guitars and delicate piano lines. Its four inventive and uplifting songs take life's daily dilemmas by the hand, tousle their hair and whisk them away to the dancefloor.

We recorded the songs in one weekend in autumn 2008 at Random Colours, a cosy north London studio filled with classic hammond organs, a selection of drum kits (from jazz to rock, via indiepop) and an impressive range of books. Jonny recorded his parts in a single take, Dan soaked up as much studio knowledge as possible, Ian unveiled a dazzling arrray of rock poses, Emma looked like a true professional singing in the vocal booth and Andy wrote and discarded Christmas songs inbetween takes.
