The Best Sound
author: Tari McDonald
I have been listening to others pocket universe music and have now finally purchased my own. I am so happy with it, love the white music. It works from putting babies/children to sleep to using as white music in BDSM dungeon play. Just rapt!!!!

Dark, Haunting, Seductive
author: zarah {L}
I close my eyes and lay back as the music starts to play. Where will it take me this time? What will I hear? Feel? The music flows over me. Dark, haunting, seductive, I let myself sink into space. My mood lends itself strongly to how the music affects me and what I hear. It is strong yet soft and haunting, I find my body moving, swaying. My favorite piece on the CD is “Surrender” the softly spoken words touch me in a way that is so hard to put into words. I can only say that I look forward to my next journey

Dominant's View review of Into the Abyss - Issue 21
author: Kayla Kuffs - Dominants Veiw
Track 1: Genghis: Starting with a crescendo of sound this track steadily increases it's rhythm and pace in a manner that I would consider perfect for setting up, warming up and ramping. It has a lulling and almost hypnotic affect. The tone of the music takes the listener through feelings of deep foreboding of things to come, a sense of calm and serenity and a feeling of lightness and air. ...
Track 2: Travelon: There is a definite change in beat in track two and all I could think of was what wonderful music for low impact corporal activity. The beat is strong and steady with various instruments combining to allow the dominant many options of pace, rhythm and intensity. ....
Track 3: Snake: By the time this track plays you are 14 minutes into the disk. The music is suitably intense and the pace has picked up considerably. We are again given various instruments at various levels of volume, pace and intensity. ... This track changes personality about ¾ of the way through and slows down for a brief period though it maintains its basic rhythm.
Track 4: Ascension: This track maintains a deep, slow and dark tone to it. Noting about it is fast paced even when considering some of the quiet but high flute like background notes that weave their way in-between the heavier instruments in the foreground.
Track 5: Surrender: This is the only track that contains any vocals. Much to my delight the vocals are done by Moonfyre's incredibly sensual voice as she reads a poem (balance) It is the poem and vocals that are the focus of this track with various musical interludes ... This for me, is the heart and soul of the disk and is my favourite track. It is also the longest track at 18 minutes, 23 seconds.
Track 6: Pulsate: With a rapid beat and a cry of what sounds like exuberant success this track appears to be intended for the 'grand finale' of a scene. The steady background beat is fast and constant with multiple foreground patterns interspersed throughout the 4 minutes and 47 seconds of it's length.
Track 7: Abyss: Into a steady beat medium paced section of the CD. Though the beat is strong and steady the foreground music is directly opposite to it in its waving flow of smooth transitional synthesized sound. ...The two blend together well even in their directly opposite sound.
Track 8: Mine: The final track on this disk is too short at two minutes. It is sweet, pleasant and light with the sounds of running water in the background. It has a different mood than the rest of the disk and definitely signifies 'The End" when you hear Mykel and Moonfyre each speak. "You're mine" he says. "Completely" she replies. Disk over.
This project was developed specifically for scening. There is no question that it would compliment many different styles of play. The mood of each track will be interpreted differently by each listener and I suspect each listener's mood will affect the way it is perceived at different points in time. I would definitely categorize this compact disk as mood music. It is a refreshing change from the usual musical accompaniment standard at most play parties and I would highly recommend it to those looking for something that will compliment and enhance the atmosphere of their dungeon.
