I caught the Po' Girls at their show in Putney, London on 7 June, when I met a lady on a blind date. (Our two combined ages probably exceed the ages of all those on stage!) An excellent show, and a great group who deserve all their success. (And the lady and I are still dating!)

this and the Sofia CD arrived at my door a few hours before leaving on a long road solo trip to the Southwest. there was no better soundtrack to accompany the lonesome desolation of the high desert. striking harmonies, mature and interesting songwriting. very different sound from earlier stuff. fantastic! come back to seattle!
