Album Notes

Animal Alphabet Songs, a collection of 26 songs (one for each letter of the alphabet), each featuring a different animal with award winning music that fits the animal and its habitat. The Cousteau Society featured a number of these songs in its Paris theme park. Zoos, schools, and museums frequently use the songs in their educational programs.
The collection, written by David Polansky, features fifteen top-notch musicians and six singers, including Polansky. Songs range from classical 4 part chorus to jazz rock with thrilling solo work. Wonderfully clever lyrics, great humor, and loaded with information.

Our children loved these songs on cassette, and we're so excited to have them now on CD for our grandson and grandniece.  When the CDs arrived, our 32-year-old son quickly skipped to all his favorites and sang along.

I am so excited to find this online.  I saw David at a teaching conference years ago and bought some of his CDs.  I absolutely love this one.  It's great for students to dance to and the facts just seep in to their brains!

I am OBSESSED with this CD

I used to listen to the cassette as a child with my brothers and sisters and I just found the CD online and I absolutely love it... We've been randomly singing the songs when we're bored for the past 10 years or so... awesome!

My 3 year old son is the biggest animal fan around so I had to get this for him.  He loves it.  The songs are short and easy for him to remember.  My little sister had Animal Alphabet Songs on tape over 20 years ago and I still remember some of the songs - wanted to share it with my children!
