Album Notes

Singer/songwriter Mark Pollock's fourth and latest CD on Junkyard Records is a mix of original blues, rock, and acoustic tunes. Multi-instrumentalist and songwriter Pollock is joined on the disc by a number of talented Boston-area musicians, including Andrew Clark on saxophones, David Cournoyer and Marc Leishman on guitar, Emily Barrett on vocals, Faith Pyne on fiddle, Mark Darling on harmonica, Kevin Sheppard on the bass, and co-producer Ken Hickey on drums and percussion. The new disc mixes sterling musicianship with great songwriting and intelligent, searing lyrics.
