This word was created to explain the style of music that the Polyjesters play. It is a mixture of many styles of music that may include Swing, Folk, Gypsy Jazz, Country and Bluegrass. It is a word that represents the sound of a Ukulele being strummed in a mad fury to push a small orchestra into the utopia of swing. Ka Chunk Chunk Ka Chunk Chunk Chunk ... repeat until desired effect is achieved

The musical skills of these individuals are unquestionable! The songs stylings of Jason and Sheldon Valleau are fantastic! The write from the depths of their musical souls! I ask you, who hasn't wanted to blow up there Jeep!? You can't help but tap your toe during the bilingual swing tune "Thomas Builder" (Not to be confused with Bob the Builder!). Incorporating the french language into there writing pays tribute to there roots and Multi-cultural policies of there nation of origin, Canada! As you know the french have different words for everything! As a 'uke' enthusiasts it is nice to see this uniquely diverse instrument being brought to the pop culture masses! uke boy	can't stop listening Can't remember how I heard about the Polyjesters, but as soon as I went to their website and heard the music, I just HAD to order the CD. I am NOT disappointed. It's been the only CD in the CD player for about 2 weeks now. Even when I'm not home, I'm listening to the Polyjesters because I CAN'T GET THESE SONGS OUT OF MY HEAD! Kim	BUY THIS DISC! In a world of mediocre talent and ho hum music this CD shines like a bright light. I'm sure this disc has not left my player for more than minute or two during the year I have owned it. It is happy, funky, heart warming music and the love affair has not worn off. Donna DeLorme	It's physically impossible not to enjoy this CD! From the moment the opening harmonies of “Jackson” begins, you know you’re going to enjoy this CD. How can you not? You can tell these guys have as much fun creating and playing their music as we do listening to it. Jason and Sheldon Valleau are the two most talented, not to mention wacky, individuals you could ever hope to come across. As fiddler Scott Duncan puts it, “it’s actually been scientifically proven that it is impossible not to enjoy listening to Jay and Shel.” I personally would have loved to be involved in that study! The songs on this CD showcase their talent and creativity as musicians, singers and songwriters, and if you’re like me and like to sing along, yeah, you’re going to enjoy taking part in their flawless harmonies.
