Album Notes

Dave's solo debut is half vocal tunes and half instrumentals, with all of the music created exclusively with layered electric and acoustic basses.

The songs range from jazz to rock, pop, funk, and space music, all tied together by the rich textures of Dave's basses and voice.

REVIEWS

I bought it because of the cool song "The Day the BasePlayers Took Over The Worl
author: William J. "Bill" Wilson
I first heard the song "The Day the Base Players Took Over the World" in 1999 on a Tacoma jazz station, while visiting Puyallup. Loved it, but didn't catch who was the performer. Always planned to look it up. Wanted to give a copy to the base player for the Chilliwacke, BC, band, 51st Eight. So I bought her a copy and one for my wife and I. Later ordered this last copy, to send to sister of my son-in-law, who plays base. It's really a neat CD and I highly recommend it to anyone interested in jazz or funky music.
