Poplord began in 2007 with an attitude of "c'mon, i think we can do better than those guys". After two CDs generally hailed as pop delights by the musical press, "Poplord vs. the Universe" continues the trend of deep yet listenable pop confections. Borrowing liberally from everything that was ever good on the AM/FM radio (listen and try to identify secretly lifted classic rock riffs), Poplord again succeeds (we believe) in bringing clever, catchy, captivating, and occasionally crunchy music to a world craving musical substance. This CD contains 11 diverse tracks with stimulating lyrics, powerful harmonies and wonderful melodies that, like a fine wine, only come from proper aging.
