Pizo' was born in Central Florida where he started his local reign performing as a member of several southern underground rap crews. His strong lyrical ability and writing talents earned him respect on the underground scene faster than most. Not having enough serious artists in reach, Pizo' and his partner Shist set out to make a rap crew under the name Dirty Life. They gained a rather large fan base throughout the Central Florida area demanding the attention of several A&R's, but the duo would soon be broken with Shist being murdered in cold blood. Surrounded by misfortune, but no stranger to the grind, Pizo' would not be deterred in his push toward his passion. Pizo' would soon be blessed with (AWCHU) a producer with the same vision. Together they presented a new sound to Hip Hop which combined a strong sense of beat, melody and vocals. This union would soon be called DIRTY LIFE ENTERTAINMENT. With a vow to leave his gang lifestyle behind him, Pizo' buried himself in his music only to emerge as one of the greatest who has ever touched the mic. Currently the singles ( Florida and In My Face ) from his new CD ( THE REDEMPTION ) are recieving tremendous performance from the record pools, underground radio, and select night clubs.

Poppa Pizo's stellar performances include such venues as The House of Blues, Hard Rock Live, Palladium, Pack Jam, Orlando Civic Center, The Bounce (ATL), and Out of Time (N.Y.). With artist such as OUTKAST, Ja Rule, Mystikal, Eightball & MJG, Three 6 Mafia, Krazie Bone, Jagged Edge, EVE, Blaque, Thrill the Playa, Pastor Troy and many more.
