Album Notes

Bob went to see Green Day in concert. We were recording a few days later. I thought the song we were working on needed a mandolin. Bob had other ideas. He plugged in the telecaster and cranked up the distortion.

Freaked me out man. I thought we were gonna do a sweet baby james thang. Next thing I know Bob is doing Pete Townshed windmills and threatning to kick over my lava lamp. I calmed myself, took a deep breath and let my ears open my mind. It was cool dad. Way cool.

That was the beginning of Me and My Guitar. During the recording all sorts of mischief occured. Broken addresses, broken equipment, broken hearts, broken promises. The one thing that stuck together was our music. It came pouring out of us. Kept us sane.

We played with a feeling that if we kept rolling the dice, our luck was bound to change.
