Album Notes
With over 300 000 YouTube views, Greg Poppleton and the Bakelite Broadcasters prove beyond doubt that their brand of 1920s jazz and 1930s swing has a rip, rock and zip that's 21st century.

They're the Kings of Frantica Antica, covering all sorts of wallop, wowie and kapow.

"I love 'It's Only a Paper Moon'," Alexandria.

"Greg Poppleton's music always hits the spot - so authentic sounding!"
Women's Vintage Radio (USA)

“Poppleton captures the essence of the swing years with uncanny accuracy. 5 Stars”
John Gilbert, (USA)

“The band knows what to do in terms of style. For swing enthusiasts the trivia alone (in the 8-page CD booklet) is worth the sticker price, never mind all of the nice music.”
Donny Harvey, (USA)

“Just TRY not to sway to the music. I dare you!”
Gerald H. Beulah, Jr. (USA)

Greg Poppleton (vocals)
Paul Furniss (alto sax, tenor sax, clarinet)
Bob Henderson (trumpet)
Matt Baker (piano)
Peter Locke (piano)

Wonderfully authentic!
This album really takes you back to the 1920's. Beautiful renditions of the vintage jazz songs. A must have for anyone who loves this musical era.

Buy it or you will regret!
