Album Notes

Biography: Porcelain, this band from Los Mochis, Sinaloa (Mexico) was formed in 2007. Their start goes back to the instrumental compositions of Marco (guitar & vocals) and Francisco (bass) with their first musical project: Imbris. This project raised the bar with their sound experiments, and the simulation of instruments such as percusion, and strings with the use of delays and quite simply complex harmony orchestrated in three guitars. At this time Marco was composing with vocals and lyrics using different resources and influences to Imbris. This was when Francisco got involved in the composition of this new band, giving birth to Porcelain. By this moment, Osvaldo (guitar, vocals & keyboards) became part of the band giving it more edge with his compositions, and his blues/rock arrangements. Porcelain created and arranged their music through the internet for some time, since some members lived in different cities. By 2007 Porcelain had more than 50 songs, and still didn’t have a drummer. Even so, they decided to record their first demo. This one was tracked by the experienced drummer, Dick Sáenz, who, after listening to the songs, proposes to be a part of this project. From then on, Porcelain commited to the writing and arranging of their songs, that vary in style and metric, creating contrast with their deep rock and modern rhythmic/harmonic elegance. The impact on their fans was set by the quality of the songs. In 2008, Porcelain takes the next step by recording their first full album named -Not for sale, produced by Álvaro Arce for 3er Piso Records.
