Album Notes

Trials and Meditations is the latest release from soundtrack artist Porchdroid.

Whilst most soundtrack artists are writing material for films or visuals, Trials and Meditations offers a collection of musical soundscapes where your imagination provides the visuals, where you provide the plot as you are immersed in a world of layered sounds and melodies creating moods and mental senarios.

Tracks such as Mech Worrier conjour up images of a futuristic earth ruled by transformer like mechanical creatures, whilst The Brutal West could easily be the soundtrack to a Tarrentino spaghetti western.

Those who are familiar with Porchdroid's material have often commented on it's ability to take the listener to another place of magic and imagination. Hopefully you'll find this release just as enjoyable.

Find yourself a comfortable chair, relax, and prepare for your journey.

Some of the feedback and reviews below describe the Porchdroid listening experience.

Midnight in Morocco
I'm digging the Eastern vibe on the Intro- cool violin sample, very Moroccan in nature. I'm a sucker for that kinda thing. The tune itself has a really nice atmospheric quality to it. Really haunting vibe & a great job at sound selection. The percussion stuff sounds great and I love the inclusion of the psuedo-fretless bass. Just perfect. This reminds me of an electronic version of a band named Ancient Future(who use all authentic instrumention). I really dig them, therefore I really dig this. Great mood music. Nice job & good luck to ya.

Great song
I love the intro. Sounds like i'm floating along the edges of the Ganges river. Very cool chill song

Nicely done.
Strange mix, I like that. The pads are cool the Arabian scales added a weird feeling. Drifty psychedelic song leaves the listener mesmerized
